Kaleidoscope – stamps from the whole world.
This is a project that is re-distributing and returning stamps of the world to the countries where they originated. Participants on The Strand will be invited to select a stamp from a collection. They will then be asked to stick the stamp to a postcard provided and write a short message to their chosen person. The postcard and stamp will be sent from a postbox on The Strand to somewhere in the world. The original collection was gathered by Lucy when she was a child in a Stanley Gibbons Stamp Album. Located on The Strand, Stanley Gibbons has been the home of stamp collecting since 1856.
